The following are the countries that are restricted by GDPR and are only available in GDPR compliant seats.

In the edit Pixel dialog box, two optional GDPR query string macros are available:

• GDPR: GDPR
• GDPR Consent: GDPR_CONSENT

These GDPR macros are also supported as Creative macros where applicable. For the full list of supported Creative macros, see the documentation here: Supported Macros

Work with your web developer to ensure these placeholders are implemented with the appropriate values for your integration.

When adding a third-party tag, Pontiac validates the macros included in the tag before it can be saved. This helps prevent tags containing unsupported or incorrectly formatted macros from being added to a Creative.

1. General Macro Validation

• If a third-party tag contains an unsupported macro:
  • The tag cannot be saved.
  • A warning message is displayed in red beneath the tag field indicating that an unsupported macro was detected.

2. GDPR Macro Handling

• The following GDPR macro formats are supported in third-party Creative tags:
  • ${GDPR}
  • ${GDPR_CONSENT_X}
    • For ${GDPR_CONSENT_X}, the trailing value represents the applicable vendor ID and is dynamic. For example:
