    • Note that if user roles are changed, the user will have to log out and log back in before the new role changes take effect.

Special Cases

  • If a user is deleted, a new user cannot be added with the same email address as the deleted user.
  • If you need to change a username or re-enable a previously deleted user, please create a ticket in our Help Center, and our engineering team will assist with the request.

In order to create new users, the user must be an Admin. Reach out to your Account Manager or through the Pontiac Help Center if you need additional assistance.

Addendums

Users can accept the LiveRamp and TransUnion addendums here.

Users must sign the applicable agreement before uploading, distributing, or using customer targeting data through LiveRamp or TransUnion in the Pontiac platform.

This ensures the user has confirmed they have the necessary legal rights, permissions, consent, and privacy compliance before Pontiac or the data partner processes the data on their behalf.

Liveramp

Pontiac requires users to confirm they have the legal rights, permissions, consent, and privacy compliance needed before Pontiac or LiveRamp can process customer targeting data on their behalf.

Signing this agreement is required for users who want to upload or distribute customer targeting data through LiveRamp using the Pontiac platform.

Transunion

Pontiac requires users to confirm they have the legal rights, permissions, consent, and privacy compliance needed before Pontiac or TransUnion can process customer targeting data on their behalf.

Signing this agreement is required for users who want to upload or distribute customer targeting data through TransUnion using the Pontiac platform.

Preferences

Choose your Seat’s timezone, which defines when the seat’s day starts and ends and establishes day boundaries across the platform. Campaign pacing and delivery are controlled separately at the campaign level and may use a different timezone. Download all timezones here and in platform:

GDPR Compliant Seats

We are live with the Bidder in Europe. Due to EU/UK privacy restrictions, all data must be kept in the EU/UK. Therefore, you must register for a separate EU/UK seat to launch campaigns in Europe. Please reach out through the Help Center or to your account executive with questions.

For seats with GDPR enabled, the default country in the targeting section will now be set to United Kingdom (UK) instead of United States (US).

This applies to the country targeting field in both:

  • Campaign targeting
  • Line targeting

Users can still update the country targeting as needed, but for GDPR-enabled seats, the default selection will be United Kingdom.

GDPR Countries

The following are the countries that are restricted by GDPR and are only available in GDPR compliant seats.

GDPR Query String Macros

In the edit Pixel dialog box, two optional GDPR query string macros are available:

  • GDPR
  • GDPR Consent

Work with your web developer to dynamically replace these placeholders with the intended values.

GDPR Third Party Tag Handling

When adding a third-party tag in the interface, certain macros are supported and others are not. To prevent invalid tags from being saved, the system performs validation and displays appropriate error messages.

1. General Macro Validation

  • When a user enters a third-party tag with unsupported macros:
    • The tag cannot be saved.
    • A warning message is displayed in red under the tag text area, indicating the issue.

2. GDPR Macro Handling

  • If a tag contains a macro that starts with GDPR_CONSENT but is not a recognized macro (e.g., GDPR_CONSENT_1324):
    • The system displays a different error message to guide the user.
    • Message: GDPR_CONSENT_XXX is not a valid macro. If you need specific GDPR information for a vendor we can add this macro. Please contact us through our ticketing center.
    • See the below screenshot of this behavior:

Sub Seats

If Sub Seats are enabled for a main Seat, they can be accessed through the main Master Seat. This allows Master Seat users to view, manage, and switch into associated Sub Seats from one central account.

Reach out to your Account Manager or through the Pontiac Help Center to inquire about this.
