IP Conversion Pixel: Page Visits

The IP Conversion Pixel: Page Visits report provides page visit activity recorded by selected IP Conversion Pixels.

Unlike the Path to Conversion report, Page Visits is not dependent on an attributed Impression or specific Line. Each row represents a visit recorded when the selected Pixel fired, regardless of whether the visitor was previously served an Ad.

This report can be used to analyze site activity, visitor location, Pixel-specific values, and optional conversion or custom data passed when the Pixel fires.

Create an IP Conversion Pixel: Page Visits Report

  1. Navigate to Reporting > Custom Reporting.
  2. Select New Custom Report.
  3. Select IP Conversion Pixel: Page Visits as the Type.
  4. Select the Start Date and End Date.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Once the report has processed, select Download next to the report name.
    • If Schedule Automated Report is enabled, the report will also be delivered using the configured delivery method.

Report Settings

  • Name: Enter a name for the report.
  • Schedule Automated Report: Enable this option to generate and deliver the report automatically on a recurring schedule. See Scheduled Reports for setup details.
  • Advertiser ID: Select the Advertisers to include. By default, all Advertisers are included.
  • Pixel ID: Select the Pixels to include. By default, all applicable Pixels are included.
  • Start Date: Select the beginning of the Reporting Interval.
  • End Date: Select the end of the Reporting Interval.
  • Type: Select IP Conversion Pixel: Page Visits.
  • Time Zone: Select the time zone used to generate the report.
  • Dimensions: Select the fields to include in the report.

Dimensions

Available Dimensions include:

  • Pixel ID: The unique Pontiac ID assigned to the IP Conversion Pixel that recorded the page visit.
  • Pixel Name: The name of the IP Conversion Pixel that recorded the page visit.
  • Conversion Time: The date and time the Pixel fired and the page visit was recorded.
  • IP Address Hashed: A hashed version of the visitor’s IP address used for privacy-preserving reporting.
  • Home Or Business: Indicates whether the IP address is classified as residential or business, when available.
  • Zip Code: The ZIP or postal code associated with the visitor.
  • Region/State Code: The region or state code associated with the visitor, such as OR or NY.
  • Advertiser Id: The unique Pontiac ID assigned to the Advertiser associated with the Pixel.
  • Date: The calendar date on which the page visit was recorded, based on the selected report Time Zone.
  • Custom Variable 1: A custom value associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Custom Variable 2: A custom value associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Custom Variable 3: A custom value associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Custom Variable 4: A custom value associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Other Parameters: Additional query string parameter values captured when the Pixel fires, when available.
  • Order ID: The order or transaction identifier associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Order Value: The order or conversion value associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Consumer Id: The customer identifier associated with the page visit, when provided.
  • Referrer Url: The URL of the page or source that referred the visitor to the page where the Pixel fired, when available.

Pixel Query String Parameters

The following fields are populated from optional query string parameters passed when the Pixel fires. These values must be dynamically populated by the website, tag manager, or other Pixel implementation and will only appear in reporting when included in the Pixel request.

  • Order ID: Populated using the ORDER_ID query string parameter.
  • Order Value: Populated using the ORDER_AMOUNT query string parameter.
  • Custom Variable 1: Populated using the VAR1 query string parameter.
  • Custom Variable 2: Populated using the VAR2 query string parameter.
  • Custom Variable 3: Populated using the VAR3 query string parameter.
  • Custom Variable 4: Populated using the VAR4 query string parameter.
  • Consumer ID: Populated using the CONSUMER_ID query string parameter.
