{"id":15315,"date":"2026-09-04T22:27:03","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T22:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/campaigns-2\/mange-campaigns\/edit-a-campaign"},"modified":"2026-10-08T18:05:28","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T18:05:28","slug":"edit-a-campaign","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/campaigns-2\/mange-campaigns\/edit-a-campaign","title":{"rendered":"Edit a Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To edit an existing Campaign:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to the applicable Advertiser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the <strong>Campaigns<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Campaign you want to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Edit<\/strong> in the upper-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update the applicable Campaign sections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Submit<\/strong> to save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select <strong>Cancel<\/strong> to discard your changes and restore the previously saved settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-120706-1-1024x370.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setup<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Setup section contains the primary Campaign settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following fields are editable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name:<\/strong> Rename the Campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Code:<\/strong> Optional value used for reporting purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Active Status:<\/strong> Determines whether the Campaign is active.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start Date:<\/strong> Editable if the Campaign has not started.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End Date:<\/strong> Editable if the Campaign has not ended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Budget Type:<\/strong> Spend or Impressions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Budget:<\/strong> Enter the total Campaign budget based on the selected Budget Type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Set a Daily Budget Cap:<\/strong> Sets an optional daily delivery limit for the Campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Manage Budgets:<\/strong> Enables Campaign-level management of Line budgets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto Pace:<\/strong> Allows the system to automatically pace the Campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Manage Creatives:<\/strong> Enables Creative management at the Campaign level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Manage Dayparts:<\/strong> Enables Pacing &amp; Dayparts management at the Campaign level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Manage Pixels:<\/strong> Enables Pixel management at the Campaign level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enable Flights:<\/strong> Enables Campaign Flights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pacing Timezone:<\/strong> Determines the timezone used for Campaign pacing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enable Campaign Frequency:<\/strong> Enables Campaign-level Frequency &amp; Recency controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Daily Budget Cap<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Daily Budget Cap limits Campaign delivery within a single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If <strong>Manage Dayparts<\/strong> is enabled and the pacing timezone is controlled at the Campaign level, the Campaign pacing timezone is used to define the day. If pacing timezone is controlled by the Lines, the Seat timezone is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the Daily Budget Cap is reached, all Lines under the Campaign stop bidding regardless of their individual budget or pacing settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Catch-up pacing is not recommended when a Daily Budget Cap is enabled, as the combination may cause inconsistent pacing behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manage Budgets<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When <strong>Manage Budgets<\/strong> is enabled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Line flight dates align with the Campaign Start Date and End Date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Line Budget Type aligns with the Campaign Budget Type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Line lifetime budgets are converted into allocation weights based on each Line&#8217;s percentage of the total Campaign budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leave <strong>Manage Budgets<\/strong> disabled if Line budgets should continue to be managed independently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manage Creatives<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When <strong>Manage Creatives<\/strong> is enabled, Creatives can be associated at the Campaign level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manage Dayparts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When <strong>Manage Dayparts<\/strong> is enabled, Pacing &amp; Dayparts are controlled at the Campaign level and override Pacing &amp; Dayparts settings configured on associated Lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refer to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/pacing-dayparts\">Pacing &amp; Dayparts<\/a><\/strong> for configuration options and instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manage Pixels<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When <strong>Manage Pixels<\/strong> is enabled, Pixels can be associated at the Campaign level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Lines under the Campaign, Pixels configured at the Line level are removed and replaced by the Pixels selected at the Campaign level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Flights<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When <strong>Enable Flights<\/strong> is selected, Campaign Flights can be configured with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start Date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End Date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rollover Budgets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rollover Type\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Even<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next Flight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refer to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/campaigns-2\/flights\">Campaign Flights<\/a><\/strong> for detailed Flight configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Campaign Frequency<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When <strong>Enable Campaign Frequency<\/strong> is selected, Frequency &amp;
