{"id":14654,"date":"2026-08-25T19:01:53","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T19:01:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=platform-updates\/new-features\/august-2026\/latitude-longitude-radius-geo-fencing"},"modified":"2026-08-26T14:06:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T14:06:12","slug":"latitude-longitude-radius-geo-fencing","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=platform-updates\/new-features\/august-2026\/latitude-longitude-radius-geo-fencing","title":{"rendered":"Latitude Longitude Radius Geo Fencing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Release Date: August 26th, 2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Geo Fencing tool in the Audiences tab now supports an additional targeting method using Latitude, Longitude, and Radius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Users can choose between two location options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Geofence: Selected by default and allows users to draw and manage a custom map shape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lat\/Long: Allows users to define a location using latitude, longitude, and radius instead of drawing a geofence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Lat\/Long is selected, the map shape controls are replaced with fields for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Latitude: 40.7128<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Longitude: -74.0060<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radius in meters: 250<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Latitude and longitude accept decimal values, and the radius is entered in meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"966\" src=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-1024x966.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14659\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-1024x966.png 1024w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-300x283.png 300w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-768x725.png 768w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-16x16.png 16w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-18x18.png 18w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506-20x20.png 20w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-26-070506.png 1154w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selected targeting method and location values are saved with the audience and used when the audience is submitted for processing.
