{"id":1247,"date":"2021-01-06T17:03:13","date_gmt":"2021-01-06T17:03:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?page_id=1247"},"modified":"2025-03-25T16:40:19","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T16:40:19","slug":"creative-bulk-upload","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=new-test-section\/creatives\/creative-bulk-upload","title":{"rendered":"Creative Bulk Upload"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you frequently upload a large quantity of Banners at one time under a single Advertiser, email your Account Manager to request access to this feature.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> All Creatives uploaded through this feature must be uploaded to the same Advertiser. This feature cannot be used to upload Creatives to multiple Advertisers. This feature can only be used for Banner creatives at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once access is granted, a new button will appear at the Advertiser level next to \u2018New Creative\u2019 that says, \u2018Creative Bulk Upload\u2019. You will then need to create and upload a CSV file with the details of each Creative. If the Creative type is a tag, the tag will be entered into the CSV. If the Creative type is an image you will also need to create and upload a zip folder that contains these images.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following are the steps to create the CSV:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create a new Excel file that will be later saved as a CSV file (with extension .csv). This can also be accomplished in a text editor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Insert the following Headers\/Columns<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Creative Name:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Creative in the Pontiac platform.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Data:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This can denote the location of the Creative in the zip file if the Creative type is &#8220;image&#8221;. If the Creative type is &#8220;thirdParty&#8221;, this is where the third-party tag goes in. Example below (2).<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Size:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative size, e.g: 300&#215;250, 300&#215;600, 320&#215;50, etc<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Click URL:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Landing page for the Creative<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Creative Type:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can take values &#8220;thirdParty&#8221; or \u201cimage\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Line Ids:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ID(s) of the lines you would like this Creative attached to after being bulk uploaded.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Third Party Creative Sub-Type:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Optional field for Creative type thirdParty. Can take values &#8220;iFrame&#8221; or &#8220;rawHTML&#8221;. This can be omitted if the Creative type is not &#8220;thirdParty&#8221;.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Example of what the Excel row\/record should look like (note the last character is comma(,) without specifying the third-party Creative sub-type):<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pontiacCreativeName1,BRAND-logo1.jpg,300&#215;250,https:\/\/pontiac.media,image,6004 6005,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pontiacCreativeName2,&lt;ins class=&#8217;dcmads&#8217; style=&#8217;display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px&#8217; data-dcm-placement=&#8217;N6563.157895.INVESTINGCHANNEL\/B9315081.133810598&#8242; data-dcm-rendering-mode=&#8217;iframe&#8217; data-dcm-https-only data-dcm-click-tracker=${CLICK_URL}&gt; &lt;script src=&#8217;https:\/\/www.googletagservices.com\/dcm\/dcmads.js&#8217;&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;&lt;\/ins&gt;,728&#215;90,https:\/\/pontiac.media,thirdParty,6004,<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note the second row above is a thirdParty Creative type and is only being associated to one line (6004).
