ID, Name, and RTB Deal ID<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Each Deal and Negotiated Deal in the platform is associated with three key identifiers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. ID:<\/strong> A unique internal numeric identifier used by the system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Name:<\/strong> The human-readable name of the Deal, often used for reporting and navigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. RTB Deal ID \/ External Deal ID:<\/strong> The identifier used in RTB auctions to reference the Deal externally.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Understanding the differences between these identifiers is important for importing Deals, setting targeting, and troubleshooting campaign issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Deals Example<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    In the Bidder \u2192<\/strong><\/strong> Inventory \u2192 Deals<\/strong> section, consider the following Deal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Name:<\/strong> Magnite-Performance-15-90s-MANY<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      If you click the hyperlinked Deal Name<\/strong> in the interface, you can view sample logs. Scroll to the right to locate the column deal_id to locate the Rtb Deal ID: IOA-PI-RON-CTV-Performance-175622-ED<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To target this Deal at the Campaign or Line level<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Navigate to Targeting<\/strong> \u2192 Edit Targeting<\/strong> \u2192 Deals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Search by either ID<\/strong> or Name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Press the green plus button to the left of the deal ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click the Save button on the lower right of the window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Save the entire Campaign or Line.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Note: You cannot<\/strong> search by Rtb Deal ID in the targeting interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
