{"id":10844,"date":"2025-04-09T17:03:02","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T17:03:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/reporting\/custom-reporting\/custom-report"},"modified":"2026-09-04T21:45:37","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T21:45:37","slug":"custom-report","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/reporting\/custom-reporting\/custom-report","title":{"rendered":"Custom Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Custom Report<\/strong> allows users to build a downloadable CSV using selected Dimensions and Metrics to analyze Campaign performance at the desired level of detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"362\" src=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-09-094305-1-1024x362.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10848\" style=\"width:1079px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-09-094305-1-1024x362.png 1024w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-09-094305-1-300x106.png 300w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-09-094305-1-768x271.png 768w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-09-094305-1-1536x543.png 1536w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-09-094305-1-2048x723.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dimensions determine how report data is grouped, while Metrics determine the performance values included in the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create a Custom Report<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Reporting &gt; Custom Reporting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>New Custom Report<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Custom Report<\/strong> as the <strong>Type<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure the report settings, Dimensions, and Metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the report has processed, expand the <strong>Custom Reporting<\/strong> section and select <strong>Download<\/strong> next to the report name.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If <strong>Schedule Automated Report<\/strong> is enabled, the report will also be delivered using the configured delivery method.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Report Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Configure the following when creating a Custom Report:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name:<\/strong> Enter a name for the report. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Schedule Automated Report:<\/strong> Enable this option to generate and deliver the report automatically on a recurring schedule. See <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/?docs=ctv-documentation\/reporting\/custom-reporting\/scheduled-reports\">Scheduled Reports<\/a> for setup details. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advertiser ID:<\/strong> Select the Advertisers to include. By default, all Advertisers are included. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Campaign ID:<\/strong> Select the Campaigns to include. By default, all Campaigns under the selected Advertisers are included. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Line ID:<\/strong> Select the Lines to include. By default, all Lines under the selected Advertisers and Campaigns are included.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start Date:<\/strong> Select the beginning of the Reporting Interval. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End Date:<\/strong> Select the end of the Reporting Interval. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Type:<\/strong> Select <strong>Custom Report<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time Zone:<\/strong> Select the time zone used to generate the report, such as <strong>Seat Time Zone, User Time Zone, UTC<\/strong>, or another supported time zone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dimensions:<\/strong> Select the categorical fields used to group and segment report data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Metrics:<\/strong> Select the quantitative performance values included in the report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dimensions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Available Dimensions include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> The date associated with the reported activity based on the selected report Time Zone. Selecting Date produces both <code>Date (yyyyMMdd)<\/code> and <code>Date (M\/d\/yyyy)<\/code> in the report output, such as <code>20260903<\/code> and <code>9\/3\/2026<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advertiser Id:<\/strong> The unique numeric Pontiac ID assigned to the Advertiser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advertiser Name:<\/strong> The name of the Advertiser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advertiser Code:<\/strong> The custom code associated with the Advertiser, when configured.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Campaign Id:<\/strong> The unique numeric Pontiac ID assigned to the Campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Campaign Name:<\/strong> The name of the Campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Campaign Code:<\/strong> The custom code associated with the Campaign, when configured.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Line Id:<\/strong> The unique numeric Pontiac ID assigned to the Line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Line Name:<\/strong> The name of the Line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Line Code:<\/strong> The custom code associated with the Line, when configured.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creative Id:<\/strong> The unique numeric Pontiac ID assigned to the Creative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creative Name:<\/strong> The name of the Creative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creative Size:<\/strong> The dimensions of the Creative in pixels, such as <code>1920x1080<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Region\/State Code:<\/strong> The region or state code associated with where the Impression was served, such as <code>HI<\/code> for Hawaii.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Region\/State Name:<\/strong> The full name of the region or state where the Impression was served, such as <code>Hawaii<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Country Code:<\/strong> The two-character country code associated with where the Impression was served, such as <code>US<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Country Name:<\/strong> The full country name associated with where the Impression was served, such as <code>United States<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DMA Code:<\/strong> The three-digit Designated Market Area (DMA) code associated with where the Impression was served, such as <code>744<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DMA Name:<\/strong> The name of the Designated Market Area associated with where the Impression was served, such as <code>Honolulu HI<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zip Code:<\/strong> The ZIP or postal code associated with where the Impression was served, such as <code>96706<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Browser:<\/strong> The browser value associated with the Impression, when available, such as <code>safari<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operating System:<\/strong> The operating system associated with the device, such as <code>roku os<\/code> or <code>tizen<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Site Domain:<\/strong> The website domain associated with the inventory, when provided. This field may be blank for App inventory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exchange:<\/strong> The Exchange or SSP through which the inventory was purchased, such as <code>magnite<\/code> or <code>index<\/code> for example.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impression Tag Id:<\/strong> The impression tag identifier provided with the inventory request. Values may be numeric or alphanumeric. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>App Domain:<\/strong> The domain associated with the App inventory, when provided, such as <code>samsungtvplus.com<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>App Bundle:<\/strong> The App Bundle ID associated with the inventory. Values may be numeric or alphanumeric.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>App Name:<\/strong> The App name provided with the inventory request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Publisher Name:<\/strong> The publisher name provided with the inventory, when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device Type:<\/strong> The numeric device type value associated with the Impression. For example, <code>3<\/code> represents Connected TV and <code>7<\/code> represents Set Top Box in the sample output.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device Make:<\/strong> The device manufacturer or brand provided with the Impression, such as <code>roku<\/code> or <code>samsung<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device Model:<\/strong> The device model provided with the Impression, such as <code>digital video player<\/code> or <code>tizen tv<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deal Id:<\/strong> The Deal ID associated with the inventory transaction, as provided in the bid request. This ID is not Pontiac&#8217;s internal numeric Deal ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deal Name:<\/strong> The Pontiac Deal name associated with the Deal ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Genre:<\/strong> The content genre provided with the inventory request, such as <code>entertainment<\/code>, <code>sports<\/code>, or <code>news<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Episode:<\/strong> The episode value provided with the content metadata, when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Title:<\/strong> The content title provided with the inventory request, when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Series:<\/strong> The content series value provided with the inventory request, when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Channel:<\/strong> The content channel value provided with the inventory request, when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Network:<\/strong> The content network value provided with the inventory request, when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hour:<\/strong> The hour in which the reported activity occurred, based on the selected report Time Zone. Values are returned using a 24-hour clock.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device Type Name:<\/strong> The human-readable device type associated with the numeric Device Type value, such as <code>connectedTv<\/code> or <code>setTopBox<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inventory Type:<\/strong> The inventory environment associated with the Impression, such as <code>app<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi Field:<\/strong> A combined content metadata field that returns an available content value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auction Type:<\/strong> The numeric auction type associated with the bid request.
