Instead of rebuilding the same setup each time, a Template can preserve commonly used configuration choices such as targeting, bidding, pacing, Frequency &amp; Recency, and other applicable settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Templates can help:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduce repetitive Campaign and Line setup <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain consistent targeting and bidding strategies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standardize commonly used configurations across users and Advertisers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce configuration mistakes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quickly recreate successful Campaign or Line structures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build reusable strategies for specific publishers, inventory types, media types, or Campaign goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Templates are managed at the Seat level under the <strong>Templates<\/strong> tab, where users can view, edit, and clone saved Campaign and Line Templates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3278\" height=\"603\" src=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10464\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243.png 3278w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243-300x55.png 300w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243-1024x188.png 1024w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243-768x141.png 768w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243-1536x283.png 1536w, https:\/\/wiki.pontiac.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-01-135243-2048x377.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 3278px) 100vw, 3278px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Template Types<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pontiac supports two primary types of Templates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Campaign Templates: Save reusable Campaign configurations and can include Campaign setup, targeting, Lines, Pacing &amp; Dayparts, and Frequency &amp; Recency settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Line Templates: Save reusable individual Line configurations, including applicable setup, bidding, targeting, Pacing &amp; Dayparts, Frequency &amp; Recency, and Foot Traffic Reporting settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Line Templates can be either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Custom Line Templates: Created by users from existing Lines for reuse in future Campaigns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public Line Templates: Preconfigured Line Templates created and maintained by Pontiac for common publishers, inventory strategies, and media-buying use cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Templates Work<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Templates provide a reusable starting configuration rather than requiring users to rebuild a Campaign or Line from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Configure Campaign or Line<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2193<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Save as Template<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2193<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manage Template at Seat Level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2193<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use Template to create a new Campaign or Line<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2193<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Review and adjust before launch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Templates do not remain connected to the Campaigns or Lines created from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Changes made to a Template apply when the Template is used to create future Campaigns or Lines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Changes made to a Template do not update Campaigns or Lines that were previously created from it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Changes made to a Campaign or Line created from a Template do not update the original Template.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Campaigns and Lines created from Templates can be edited after creation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Templates provide a starting configuration.
